INKXRUDY has been Tattooing for 28 years. He's been at it since the late 1900s. First-generation Mexican American. Raised through foster care, group homes, DYS—back and forth in and out of the county jail because of alcohol. He would end up doing three years in Ohio state prison for selling drugs. Born in San Benito, Texas, he was sent to northwest Ohio in 1996 to live with his relatives. Two years later, at 15, He received his first tattoo kit and never looked back. Later in life he found the mother of his two beautiful children and became a father to Irish twins. Father hood was a blessing but becoming a first time father was a major learning curve. He was now responsible for two human beings, still battling alcoholism his life didn't get easier but was filled with chaotic energy and daily strife. He spent 25 years drinking, starting at 12, until God stepped in and flipped his whole life around. He is now going on five years sober, clean, and walking with Jesus Christ. The old me is dead. I live with purpose, gratitude, and faith. His sober self is filled with working on his craft and his calling—giving my testimony one tattoo at a time, one client at a time. He loves his walk-ins only style of tattooing, He "enjoys" only working hours only. No deposits. No pressure. He stays free to pick up and move wherever God and life lead him next. He reserves Sunday's for worship. When he's not worshiping, He's working meticulously on his craft —Monday through Saturday. He leaves a message to the youth:
Whatever you do, homie, put your heart into it. God got you. Your name and your story is already written. Accept the glory He has for you and show up every day as the best version of yourself.

May peace be with you wherever you are.
